A deeply-veined veined cheese from the village Posada de Valdeón, in the heart of Picos de Europa. This cheese is a bit less intense than the better-known, very intense, Cabrales. Made from pasteurized cow & goat’s milk. Try it with some caramelized fig or quince jam on the side for a sweet counterpoint to its deeply savory character.
Price is for 1 lb. The pieces vary in size but we try to ship as close to 1 lb. as possible.
