A quick and simple way to create a very popular Spanish appetizer.
Ingredients

Padron peppers
-
Olive Oil
-
Coarse Sea Salt

1-3 tbsp Canola, Sunflower, or Peanut oil
Directions
Wash padron peppers, shake them off
Heat the cooking oil in a large pan, possibly a wok - it is best NOT to use olive oil for the cooking part
Carefully add the Padron peppers to the hot oil. Let them sear in the hot oil on one side for about 1-2 minutes, then toss, cooking 1-3 minutes more
Add a tablespoon of water to the pan near the end to soften the peppers
Remove from pan, sprinkle generously with olive oil and coarse sea salt
