Refund policy

These terms are in addition to our general Terms of Service. As stated there, we reserve the right to modify and amend this and any policy at any time by posting a new version to this web site. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically.
Product Return Policy (Other Than Alcoholic Beverages)
We accept returns for products within 30 days from the date of purchase. We accept returns for items EXCEPT those listed below. All items must be in their original packaging and must be unused. We cannot offer returns on the following items:
- perishable foods
- potato chips and fragile crackers.
- used cookware
- partially consumed foods
- alcoholic beverages (see separate policy below)
- chipped or cracked ceramics that were sold in undamaged condition.
- paella pans over 50cm in diameter
Reasons for not accepting these returns vary. Either they are health and safety related, or based on the fact that some items are damaged by round-trip shipping or are too expensive to return ship.
Returns are accepted only after you have contacted our customer support and have been issued a Return Authorization and a prepaid shipping label. We reserve the right to inspect returned products before making a final determination on a refund or store credit. You agree that we have the right to refuse a return or refund request based on our evaluation of the return.
Alcoholic Beverage Return Policy
Due to alcoholic beverage laws, we do not accept alcohol returns unless we have shipped you a product in error or if you believe the product has a defect. Please inspect received shipments of wine carefully and report any order discrepancies within 48 hours of receipt. If you believe you have received a beverage with a defect, such as a wine that is "corked", a leaking or broken closure, or shows signs of heat damage, please contact our customer service team within 14 days of receipt. We will work with you to understand and resolve the issue, which may include a replacement with the same product, a similar product, or store credit. Due to alcohol return laws, we are unable to issue refunds on alcoholic beverages unless we shipped you product in error (wrong product or wrong quantity). If this is the case, contact us to obtain a Return Authorization and return the product using a prepaid shipping label. We will ship you the correct product or issue a refund.
Please note that all sales of "rare and vintage" alcoholic beverages, defined by a vintage date of more than 15 years prior to the date of sale, are final and cannot be returned under any circumstance. As of 2025, this means any product with a vintage of 2009 or older. Seller disclaims all responsibility for any defect and buyer assumes full responsibility for the condition of the product. Refund Policy
Eligible refunds will be processed and refunded to the original method of payment within 5-7 business days of refund being approved. You have the option of a 100% refund for the defective or returned items to the original method of payment, or you may opt for 110% of the value of the item in the form of a store credit.
