Beer And Cider

Spain is probably as famous for its ciders as it is for its wine.  Asturians are as proud of their Trabanco as a Basque is of Isastegi.  All of Spanish ciders are amazing by themselves, and even better with traditional foods from their regions.  Beer, however, is no second fiddle.  "Un caña", which is a tall skinny glass of beer, reigns supreme during tapas hour in all of Spain.  Be it Estrella Damm in Barcelona or Alhambra in Granada or Estrella Galicia in the north, there is a Spanish beer for each region and each region is proud of its beer.  Germany, move over!
