Barbadillo Manzanilla Salicornia

Barbadillo Manzanilla Salicornia - The Spanish Table

Barbadillo Manzanilla Salicornia

‘Salicornia’ is Spanish for samphire (you may know it as ‘sea beans’), the crunchy and salty coastal succulent plant. The roughly 100 casks that comprise the Salicornia solera are housed in Barbadillo’s Arboledilla bodega, perhaps the winery’s single most iconic and a regional benchmark for the classic ‘cathedral’ style of bodega architecture. The winery plans to draw two sacas per year from this solera into handsome driven-cork Burgundy bottles, so please join us in welcoming this very first saca of September 2023!
