A Membership For Everyone

Each of our clubs shown below are available as ongoing subscriptions or with 3 and 6-month terms. There are no sign-up fees. To subscribe, simply add the membership products below to the cart and check out. During checkout, you can choose whether you would like to pick up your wines at one of our 3 San Francisco bay area stores or to have them shipped to you (at nominal extra cost).

Wine Club FAQs

Basics

Once you have purchased your subscription, you will start receiving 2 bottles of wine each month. If you chose shipping, we will ship the wine to arrive around the 10th of the month. If you have chosen to pick up the wine in one of our stores, you will receive a notification and can pick up on the 5th of every month.

Yes! Our 3 and 6-month memberships are perfect to give the gift of two bottles of wine to a friend or family member and create ongoing joy. In order to gift, you will need to designate the recipient in the shipping address fields (or the store pickup location name fields) and you will enter your information in the credit card area. You will have to select different shipping and billing addresses.

You do not put a card or your card details on file with us. Purchasing the wine club is like any other online purchase and we do not see your card data. Your card data is securely stored by our website provide Shopify.

While ask that members pick up wines within a week of new club drops coming out, we understand everyone gets busy. We will gladly hold wines in our stores for up to 2 months. At the end of this period, we will notify you a final time and will then ship the wine to you at your expense.

Yes. If you would like to change the club level, you can switch clubs on your own. You will receive your own club administration login and can add or change clubs online.

Yes, you can, and many of our members do. Simply add multiple clubs to your cart and then check out, and you will start separate, parallel subscriptions. You can e even choose different subscription lengths for each of the subscriptions.

Our self-admin portal allows you to pause a subscription. We ask that subscriptions pauses are kept to less than 3 months. We are happy to work with members for special circumstances. While a membership is paused, you will not be charged, you will not receive wine, and you temporarily give up member benefits.

You can subscribe to our club with different subscription lengths (3 months, 6 months, and ongoing). Each duration comes with a time commitment and different cancellation terms. While you can cancel at any time, we ask you to remain a member for at least 3 months before you can cancel free of charge. Please see our Wine Club Terms and Conditions for details.

Wines

We choose unique wines that showcase a region, a producer, or a grape varietal or all of these. Our team tastes every wine we place in the club.

We VERY rarely encounter that a member does not like the wines. Like in any curated product situation, there may be selections we make you like better and some which may not be your cup of tea, err, glass of wine. We are always open to feedback and while we don't guarantee it, we have at times replaced a wine or two that a loyal member didn't like.

Wine club wines are subject to the same rules as all other wines. You can always return a flawed wine (corked, heat-damaged, etc), but we cannot accept partially consumed wines that you "did not like".

Yes, we choose wines from both Spain and Portugal. Depending on what we find, we often feature two wines from the same country, or we may focus more on one of the two countries than the other for a few months. In general, it is safe to say we select more wines from Spain than Portugal. We are considering a Portuguese-only wine club.
