Raul Perez 2022 Ultreia Godello Bierzo - The Spanish Table

Raul Perez's white Ultreia Godello is a blend of five different plots, most of them in Cacabelos. It has a very expressive nose, with notes of yellow fruit, flowers and white pepper. It's round and fleshy, with moderate ripeness and alcohol (around 12.5%). This is a more fruity, less flinty version of Godello with a touch of "natural" juicyness. Just like Raul's Mencia based red Ultreia, this has a little bit of an appealing funk and breadth to appeal to your inner, Birkenstock wearing hippie.

I’m very fussy about Honey. When I accidentally discovered. Vila Vela orange blossom, honey in a little café in Santa Monica,I was hooked. it is sweet and clean and delicate. Some honey smells like dirty socks. This honey smells like a sweet orchard and it tastes so good.
