Paulo Loreano 2020 Vale da Torre Classico
Paulo Loreano 2020 Vale da Torre Classico
Vale da Torre wines were created as a tribute to the history of the region. In medieval times, the vast Alentejo was guarded by a network of small fortresses, in which the watchtowers stood out. The vineyards where the grapes for this wine are grown is located in a valley near the village of Torre de Coelheiros in the region of Évora, which stands out for its watchtower at its highest point. The wine is a blend of Aragonez, Trincadeira and a small percentage of Alicante Bouschet. Vinified and aged in stainless steel, it delights with black stone fruit, plums, red pepper and mint. Soft but fresh, it shows young tannins although round and silky. It is easygoing, yet sophisticated, and is a perfect "chill a little" summer wine. It's also a phenomenal value, which is why it was of the stars in our Crianza Wine Club
