Pago Aylés 2020 Senda de Leñadores

This wine comes from a single parcel and is mostly Garnacha and Tempranillo, with a small amount of Cabernet and Merlot in the mix. It’s got rich blueberry fruit, along with some chocolate and spice from 10 months in oak, but it still feels elegant and fresh. There’s a little balsamic lift, some floral notes, and the tannins are fine and smooth. It’s concentrated but really polished – definitely one to age if you can wait.
