This six-pack of Rueda greats is our Verdejo month treat! Taste 6 very different, all delicious Verdejo white wines from Spain's Rueda. Either love them all, or find your favorite. The Casamaro is fresh and approachable. It's older cousin, Tres Olmos is what Verdejo should be - fruit forward with some nice citrus and herbs. The Martinsancho shows what happens when you put a Verdejo down for a few years - good things! The grapefruit becomes deeper, the herbs more pronounced. Lirondo is a naked Verdejo, with some sediment to remind us that Verdejo, too, comes from mother nature. Last but not least, Nisia is the exclamation mark on the Verdejo paragraph. It's old vine fruit gives depth, and the extended oak aging make this taste much like a nice Chablis. So much to enjoy!
