Pretexto is a unique Portuguese red from the Dão region, made entirely from grapes grown in our own vineyards. The 2020 vintage blends 50% of grapes from Penalva do Castelo—varieties like Jaen (Mencia), Alfrocheiro, and Tinta Roriz grown in granite and clay soils—and 50% from Vila Nova de Tazem, where Jaen and Touriga Nacional thrive in pure granite.
