Juicy and fresh, hearty yet subtle. The kind of wine that just jumps out of the glass and instantly turn a ho-hum day into a bright, shiny, enjoyable one. Red fruit and ripe fruit compote are very nicely lifted by crisp acid and a freshness that gives the wine a very happy note. After the initial burst of fruit, the wine settles on the palate with warm earthy notes, maybe a hint of dried tobacco leaf and very faint cedar. Bobal comes in all flavors - light to thick. This one hits right in the middle. Juicy and ripe, but not overpowering. Perfect for summer barilla, porch sipping, or that special paella night.
