Bohigas hails from Catalonia and is made from Xarel-Lo, a white grape most often used in the famous cava sparkling wine (where it's blended with Macabeo and Parellada). This wine showcases the playful side of the Xarelo grape's seriousness. On the nose beeswax and honeysuckle invite the first sip. On the palate, it's all crisp orchard fruit, a touch of fennel, and salty minerality, with a pleasant undertone of yellow waxiness.
