Placed first in a tasting of eight wines from Rioja and Ribera, This wine from a region, just next to Ribera has a medium garnet color and a rich fruity nose with touches of oak. On the pallet, it is a ripe, fruity wine of intensity, but a surprisingly soft finish. It shows well now but should hold for several years.
