Verdejo is an easy drinking wine.  This one is no exception.  Verdejo can also be one fo the more mass-produced wines in Spain, so it's nice to have a delicious Verdejo with a very good back-story, and boy, do we love this wine's story.  THIS Verdejo is a true reflection of a winery that supports 383 rural families, mostly inhabitants of 30 towns in the provinces of Valladolid and Segovia and that work to effectively promote equality between women and men in the rural environment. It is a white wine made from organic grapes using certified vegan winemaking. The paper in the box is recycled and uses FSC certified papers. The glass, in addition to being recycled, is light to reduce emissions during transportation. The capsule is aluminum and is free of the usual plastics so it is 100% recyclable. The cap comes from sugar cane with a zero carbon footprint.  Like any good Verdejo, it sports freshness and citrus aromas, and is a perfect accompaniment to many seafoods, especially fresh shellfish.
