Les Moulins Mahjoub produces their m'hamsa couscous in the original method, as the Berbers of Tebourba once did, in large grains. Hand rolling whole-wheat semolina flour with olive oil, water and salt on screens, letting the small grains fall through, then adding flour and rolling again until a consistent size grain is formed. The couscous grains are then coated with two ancient and reliable preservatives, olive oil and salt.
This whole wheat couscous has a deeper, heartier flavor than the original.
INGREDIENTS: Whole wheat durum semolina, extra virgin olive oil, salt and water. IMPORTED.
NET WEIGHT: 1.1 LB (500 grams).
Always excellent and delicious
I've been drinking La Ina since my grandfather introduced me to it in the 1950s. It is the best fino on the planet--bone dry; it's the perfect apertif. None of the stores in my city carry it any more, so I am grateful to you.
Love this piece of equipment, and it's so classic and beautifully designed.
The chocolate is delicious and I was well pleased with Spanish Table!
Great chips! Thin, crisp and well seasoned
Very nice the Jamon does bring back fond memories of the afternoons in a cafe in Spain. Thank you
I love these- have them in just about every size you have! Discovered them when we lived in Spain several years ago and am so pleased that you have them!
Always arrive well packed and safe! Thank You!
Perfect for tapas!
I am new to fried favas. This brand is the tastiest i have found so far. Fresh, spicy…yummy!
I may be somewhat partial to Soria to begin with, but I really think this chorizo is the best of all. Very well packaged also, which means it stays fresh for quite some time if you only can have the discipline to eat a few slices at a time.
We've been using the Rey De La Vera pimentons (both Dolce and Picante varieties) for years. We aren't daily consumers of them, in fact we only finished the last cans of them after six or seven years. Even so, we like them well enough that this was the brand we came to at once: why tinker with success?
I lived in Spain for 10 years and discovered Fabada early on. It became (along with Cocido Madrileño and callos) my favorite dish. This brought back many happy memories. The quality of the meats and the exquisite taste of the morcilla and chorizo really made the dish sing! I will definitely recommend this to anyone and will purchase again.
Muchas gracias!
I've enjoyed the Pimenton varieties from Rey Da La Vera for probably a dozen years (but we don't use it all that frequently, I just finished a pair of 2.6 oz tins (Picante and Dulce) after that length of time), and found The Spanish Table as a source for both Dulce and Picante, also Agrodulce (which I hadn't been able to find way back then). As far as smoked paprika goes, I'd rate this very highly.
A beautiful piece! I’m so happy that I now own one. ¡Y olé!
Delicious wine consumed on a Friday end of Summer evening. I don’t have the lexicon to truly do it justice so simply try it. Nicest Portuguese wine in a while!
