This is super rare as Barbadillo no longer produces this wine.
We originally tried the Barbadillo Oloroso Medium VORS years ago and it is one of the great sweeter (but not too sweet) sherries made. This is absolutely stunning and one of the most impressive Oloroso Dulces I've had.
Liquid velvet on the palate, with notes of creme brulee, almond brittle, cinnamon, clove and nutmeg that take forever to dissolve on the palate. Good acidity keeps this from seeming heavy or overly sweet. As near perfect as you can get. "This Sherry carries the new V.O.R.S. designation for old soleras of at least 30 years of age. The Non-Vintage Oloroso Dulce V.O.R.S. is amber/mahogany with aromas of leather, coffee, vanilla, nuts and figs. Just off-dry, it is powerful yet smooth in the mouth. These sherrys are best served with strong cheeses after a meal or as a substitute for Armagnac and/or Cognac as a pairing for a Cuban stogie" 93 points Wine Advocate
