Oxer Bastegieta Artillero Rioja 2019

Oxer makes some very small production Rioja with real elegance and a sense of place. This is from a vineyard near El Vilar is predominately Tempranillo but has a little bit of Viura in it as well.  Dark fruit and a savory note of leather and earth are touched with notes of wild Mediterranean herbs, licorice and a mineral, graphite note.
