So, true confessions. Our grocery buyer loves Spain and loooves tinned fish, but she's not Spanish. Her father is Peruvian. So when this line came across her desk... well she had to try it. And she liked it. Then our wine buyer (and resident super-taster) had a can for lunch and did a little happy dance. So yeah. These are good. Very good.

Olives? In Peru? Yes. Big, meaty, purple olives. They are delicious and so is this sauce. Eat this on some rice to soak it up. Very Peruvian. And that pink Maras salt? It's literally collected just down the road from our buyer's family's home in the Urubamba Valley - check out her vacation pic.
