Who doesn't love giant crunchy corn "nuts"? Spain certainly does, and so do we. Non-GMO giant corn kernels are soaked in water, then toasted and salted. Where's the beer?

I'm trying to consume more SMASH - salmon, mackerel, anchovies, sardines and herring - and purchased a variety of these tinned, mostly small predatory fish, from a variety of purveyors. This tuna, though not a member of the above group of fishes, has proved to be one of my favorites, aside from the sardines with lemon.
These olives are prepared just differently enough to be delicious. The brine is not harsh and vinegary like other olives. The Spanish Table shipped them promptly

While a tad on the pricy side, they were shipped quicky and went into my pasta with calamari in a squid ink sauce which was hugely successful. The recipe is a keeper for me.
