Don Gonzalo 20 Year Oloroso disappeared quickly when we bought a bottle for the house. The dark mahogany color is a reflection of the extended time this dry oloroso spends in solera. I love the nose on this: aromas of caramel, old oak, resin, black walnuts, and a hint of prune or dried figs. Plush and velvety on the palate with flavors of crystallized citrus zest and caramelized black walnuts with tang, focus, and lingering orange notes on the finish. This is delicious and way too easy to drink on its own. Decanter Magazine rated this "Outstanding" and gave it 18.5 out of a possible 20 pts.
