Graciano has been predominantly used as a blending grape in Rioja.  Back In 1994, Vina Ijalba made the first wine exclusively from Graciano grapes.  They've been making it ever since, and many others have followed.  Graciano has a gorgeous black fruit character - dark red color along with black current, mild green pepperiness, and velvety tannins bordering on grippy.  Graciano is higher in acid, adding a liveliness to the wine.  This wine made from organically farmed grapes is outstanding - it is featured as our May 2024 Wine Club wine for our Blanco Y Tinto and Tinto wine clubs.
